Two faiths<\/strong><\/p>\n

There is faith that assumes
\nWe already know what needs to be known<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

It doesn’t question or consider<\/div>\n
It just wants what it wants<\/div>\n
\n

It can take you far on your journey
\nSometimes burning bridges
\nAs light can’t enter where learning is needed<\/p>\n

But faith of the other kind
\nInnocent and pure
\nDraws you closer to Source
\nTo Life
\nTo Yourself<\/p>\n

You pay attention to their slightest gestures
\nKnowing they see what you are yearning to see
\nKnowing they are what you are yearning to be<\/p>\n

You leave everything in their hands
\nPersisting, learning, adapting, performing
\nInviting in change only they can provide
\n.

The more I worked on this topic, the more I felt it’s very difficult, if not impossible, to establish and act out a true belief in yourself, your life, and God without surrender and devotion. My experience was that believing guided me to those things that needed attention. Noticing this phenomena forced me to realise how my own faith had been lacking in strength and also misplaced. I noticed that there were ways in which I didn’t believe in myself and that it had affected my life in many ways. But I also noticed that I shouldn’t believe in me, but Me – the real Self – because that’s where the real change stems from.<\/p>\n

Also, focusing on Myself made it clear that life wants to give you its best\u00a0all the time<\/em> and that it contains everything<\/em> we need – I just had to align with it again and again so that whatever is needed in the moment can manifest. This required letting go of egocentric desires, thoughts, and activities, but it resulted in me living each moment differently: my priorities and agendas became anew as did my degree of excitement, curiosity, and intensity towards finding deeper truths. Also, making compromises became impossible – I just couldn’t and wouldn’t give up – I just wanted to find exactly what life wanted to give me. It was quite surprising to notice how even accomplishing that (i.e. finding what life wanted to give me) was not the point. The point was the better alignment and self-knowledge, and the process of accomplishment was the tool for that. Pretty awesome!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
